Experience high-energy opera, presented at your school, library, or community center in a fully staged, 45-minute performance. Performances are sung in English/Spanish and are designed for today's young audiences. Teachers receive a study guide in advance.

The Barber of Seville

Adaptation/Libretto by Kristine McIntyre 

In a new bilingual adaption of Rossini’s beloved comic opera, language divides a young couple as much as a stubborn uncle. Opera's most famous barber, Figaro, plays the role of translator as Rossini’s sparkling, witty score takes center stage.  Sung in English and Spanish.


Dates: January 30, 2017 – May 19, 2017 – Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only

Opera Blasts

 

 

A program to complement Opera to Go!  for students in Pre-K – Grade 1

Add Opera Blasts to your Opera to Go! performance to provide a personal, interactive way for your younger students (Pre-K to Grade 1) to experience opera.  Opera to Go! singers can visit up to five classrooms simultaneously to perform stories adapted from the operatic repertoire.


Price: $750 for one Opera to Go! show plus Opera Blasts
